The principal objective of the project was to decrease the emissions of hydrocarbons from storage tanks and from the loading station of benzene, pyrolysis oil, fuel oil, gas oil and C9 fraction.

The project included namely design and installation of new scales bridge, new shunting
equipment, new control system including of a control panel, replacement of the loading equipment including a hydraulic control system – 2 x 3 loading tubes, installation of an overpressure venting system of the loading station. Furthermore, an off-gas system for the tanks and loading tubes with a blower sending the off-gas to the incinerator was installed. Reconstruction of the field instrumentation of the tanks also belonged to the scope of the project.

The reconstruction was carried out during full operation of the loading station in two stages.
