There has been designed and installed a liquefaction technology for methanol based gasses in the new premises. The heart of the technology is a distillation column where methanol and other volatile components are separated from water. The liquefied methanol is used as a fuel and partially replaces the so far purchased heating oil. The capacity of 900 l/hr of liquid methanol produce 5 tons of steam per day while there are significantly reduced the gas emissions.

By project implementation were achieved two goals. There were significantly reduced atmospheric gas emissions and there were also achieved cost savings in the production of steam in the plant, whereas the waste gases from the wood treatment in the papermaking process has been so far discharged from the evaporators to the flares and burned useless.

The project was implemented in a record time of 8 months from the conclusion of the contract for work.
