The complete project preparation and execution of a new cyclohexylamine production plant with the aim of intensifying the production of cyclohexylamine up to the level of 60 kt/year.
At the same time, the storage capacity of cyclohexylamine and dicyclohexylamine was increased by the construction of a new tankfarm. A blower is connected to the circulating gas loop via the production reactor. The vacuum for the distillation part is provided by a pair of vacuum pumps in a separate building. The project also included implementation of a combustion unit for burning off-gases from cyclohexylamine and dicyclohexylamine plants based on the principle of thermal oxidation with a catalytic section to reduce NOx emissions. For this purpose, an unmanned ammonia water mixing unit is also installed in the plant. A new electrical substation and a room for the control system was also built.
