Reconstruction of the unloading station featured reconstruction of the existing unloading station to comply with the legislation of environmental protection, to improve safety, and to increase options of its use simultaneously.

Reconstruction consisted of replacement of the unloading arms and the folding stairs, reconstruction of the piping system and installation of a new control system including
its connection to the central control room. The project was prepared out during the full operation, only the reconstruction itself was carried out during a short shut down of the unit.

The system of the wash oil included connecting the washing fluid to the area of the storage tanks of bitumen, and connecting it to the specific tie-in points and withdrawing of the used oil. It was intended for washing the unloading piping connections and pumps for pumping various kinds of fluids (light and even heavy hydrocarbons).
