The goal of the project was to ensure the safe separation of above-ground process parts of UGS in the Distributed Center 1 from the sources of gas in case of emergency (accident, fire, gas leakage, loss of equipment integrity, etc.), and then safely emergency depressurize all the high pressure equipment.
The underground gas storage (UGS) Dolní Bojanovice is used for natural gas storage. UGS technology allows the tank running in the gas injection and extraction mode.
