The aim of this project was to modify and optimize the technological equipment of the existing Butadiene unit to process the raw material with a higher concentration of ethyl a vinylacetylene.
For this purpose, it was neccessary to replace the packing and internals in one column, to modify a heat exchanger, to replace a part of field instrumentation and some piping connections.
