The project presented an increase in the capacity from the existing 453 000 t/year to 560 000 t/year of ethylene production.
The project was carried out in three stages.
Within the 1st stage, the capacity of ethylene production was increased to 485 000 t/year. The increase in the capacity laid in both replacement or modification of the existing equipment and in incorporation of new equipment in selected parts of the process to achieve the required capacity.
INTECHA provided for the client CHEMOPETROL, a.s. Litvínov EIA documentation, an off-site study, a project for planning permit and a project for building permit. INTECHA prepared a detailed design in mechanical, piping, instrumentation and electrical parts for the main contractor of the construction TECHNIP B.V. INTECHA further provided procurement of the piping material and it carried out onsite supervision.
