To connect off-gas from the new production plant, Styrene Plant, a liquid seal was installed in the inlet line to the existing flare stack as a flame arrestor feature and to catch condensate from the offgas.
The objective of the construction was to install the liquid seal with permanent circulation and automatic addition of water, to perform all the necessary civil modification, modification of the water, condensate and flare gas piping, and connection to the control system of Styrene unit.
