A new flare system for new production units PE and PP and for other existing units was designed within the project.
The existing flare was reconstructed (recalculated for new conditions, the burner
including the pilot burners, the thermocouples, the ignition panel and all the associated parts was replaced for a new one) and a new system of flare off-gas was constructed (the design of the process included a system of separators, a water seals, a control system and other associated equipment).
The construction was carried out during operation and planned shut downs for necessary work and connections were respected.
