The objective of the reconstruction of the unit "Gasification of heavy fuel oil" was to carry it out without any shut down of the production unit, gradual reconstruction of both process lines of HTS conversion was executed.
Within the scope of the reconstruction, equipment was replaced, and remarkably, the entire process was changed. The objective of the reconstruction was to comply with
requirements for the higher CO conversion.
Intecha repacked columns. Intecha installed sealless pumps, necessary piping connections, all the instrumentation items and the wash solution. New conversion reactor and spraying cooler were installed.
