The main objective of the reconstruction of the “POX” unit of "Gasification of heavy fuel oil".
The reconstruction featured modification of the existing equipment, installation of new burners and other equipment, and modification of the associated piping connections. New equipment was installed in the existing steel structure. New piping connections were placed on the existing pipe racks.
Replacement of the burners was combined with further modification in the steam, cooling water piping systems, and in the heat tracing system, plus a new filtration unit including piping connections.
