Replacement of the steam turbine of the charge gas compressor, the steam turbine of the propylene compressor and the steam turbine of the ethylene compressor belonged to a project called „Increasing the capacity of the ethylene plant" in CHEMOPETROL, a.s. Litvínov.
The replacement of the turbines was executed during a 47 day shutdown of the ethylene plant. The projects included complete detailed design for tie-in points of the turbines and utilities (steam, condensate, oil, cooling water), and execution of all the procurement and assembly associated with installation of the new turbines.
Parameters of the steam pipeline: p=11.9 MPa; t=520 0C; diameter DN 200 to DN 300
