Addition of FAME to diesel and ethanol to gasoline was an investment project induced by new European Union legislation requiring biofuel additives to gasoline and diesel.
A new unloading station of feedstock from rail tank cars was executed in ČESKÁ RAFINÉRSKÁ, a.s. including reconstruction of the railway surface. The station was equipped with seven unloading arms and safety measures of the unloading station. The project further included construction of new storage tanks for FAME and bioethanol, reconstruction of the existing pump station with new pumps for FAME and construction of a new pump station for ethanol. Furthermore, ratio dosing to the fuels including DCS modification was carried out.
