The contract included design and installation of the process of automatic dewatering system for six primary naphtha storage tanks in the MOL SLOVNAFT refinery in Slovakia.
The process is based on removal of deposited water from the bottom of the tank. Subsequently, water is separated from gasoline, whereas gasoline is sent back to the storage tank and the separated water containing up to 50 ppm of free hydrocarbons is discharged to the waste water system.
This process prevents storage product losses as well as contamination of waste water with hydrocarbons.
