The contract included six projects in total. One of them was executed before the shutdown. For the remaining projects, prefabrication was carried out at the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009. Final assembly was executed during the shutdown of Kralupy refinery.

 

These were the following projects:

  • Revamp of sludge farm - construction of a new line for water removal from refinery sludge. Water was removed in a centrifuge with dosing a flocculant.
  • Dehydration of circulation gas – installation of a dehydration adsorber uses a molecular sieve, which adsorbes humidity from the circulation gas for start-up of reforming.
  • Improvement of DEA filtration – a new installed filter was intended to improve the efficiency of solid particles separation from regenerated DEA solution.
  • Handling with DEA – installation of tie-in points.
  • Improving of reliability of pumps of 2512 unit – installation of new pump protection valves, which ensured case of minimal flow.
  • Desalination unit modification – installation of new pressure safety valves on the desalinator including piping connection with the collector tank.
