Demolition of original Tank FB-103 was executed due to the fact that the tank was in a significantly corroded state and it could not be used to storage of hydrocarbons. It was replaced by a new tank intended as a feed tank for primary naphtha to pyrolysis furnaces.
New tank FB-103 was made of stainless steel while the original one was made of carbon steel.
The project of new Tank FB-103 with a volume of 200 m3 included especially design, manufacturing, it’s installation on existing repaired foundation, reassembly of original/new instrumentation, installation of Fire fighting equipment, delivery and assembly of Steel structure and reassembly of original piping connected to the tank.
