PROPYLENE PURIFICATION UNIT

Polymer manufactures require high-purity monomers (polymer grade feedstocks). Impurities in feedstock significantly affect catalyst activity and functionality, lowering polymer yield and quality. Therefore olefins from an FCC unit or steam crackers could be treated by adsorbents to remove many contaminants and meet the high-purity requirements of the feedstock.

 

RECONSTRUCTION OF STYRENE OFF-GASES

The aim of the project was to reduce the amount of spills and to improve health and safety in the vicinity of the polymerization reactors.

 

PS 212 POLYMERIZATION EMISSION SYSTEM

The aim of the project was to modify the existing emission system of polymerization unit PS212.

 

MODIFICATION OF BUTADIENE DISTILLATION UNIT FOR RAFINATE 1 DEHYDRATION

The aim of the project was to modify the  Butadiene Distillation unit to be able to dehydrate the raffinate 1 in this unit.

 

BUTADIENE REVAMP

The aim of this project was to modify and optimize the technological equipment of the existing Butadiene unit to process the raw material with a higher concentration of ethyl a vinylacetylene.

 

PIPING LINES MODIFICATION

The aim of this detail design documentation for investment job „Piping lines modification“ was to design necessary modifications in the process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and civil part to supplement the existing process equipment with the production of a new product „Ricon 100“ (liquid copolymer of butadiene and styrene).

 

EXPANDABLE POLYSTYRENE PRODUCTION PLANT MODIFICATIONS

The aim of a long-term cooperation is an execution of several projects in SYNTHOS Kralupy a.s. to modify expandable polystyrene (EPS) production plant.

 

EXPANDABLE POLYSTYRENE TEST UNIT INSTALLATION

The project objective was a design solution for execution of the SYNTOS KRALUPY a.s. intention to install a new test unit for expandable polystyrene (XEPS) production by extrusion way to enlarge the product range.

Design and procurement of a granulation line for production of polypropylene pellets.

 

FLARE SYSTEM FOR PE/PP PLANTS

A new flare system for new production units PE and PP and for other existing units was designed within the project.
