The aim of this project was to increase the butadiene storage capacity and to build a new line for the butadiene transport from the Liquefied Gas Storage Facility to the Chemical Production Area (CHPA).
Demolition of original Tank FB-103 was executed due to the fact that the tank was in a significantly corroded state and it could not be used to storage of hydrocarbons. It was replaced by a new tank intended as a feed tank for primary naphtha to pyrolysis furnaces.
